Request Pickup

Offsite warehouses now have the option to enable a request pickup function for their dealers. When request pickup is enabled, new appointments will create PICK and PUT orders as usual, however, dealer personnel will be required to request pickups for tires going into storage. When generating pickup manifests for these tires, warehouse personnel will select the “Ready for Pickup Only” option.

Re-Store Tire Sets

You asked and we delivered! Dealers now have the option to re-store tire set for customers with extended storage. Simply go the customer's profile, click the ••• menu for the tire set, then select the "Re-store Set" option. The re-store set option will only appear for sets in storage for the designated extended cut-off period and if there is no appointment to retrieve the set. 


Improvements


We've made improvements to other areas of the TSS system. Take a look at the new improvements in this release:


VIN Required to Print Labels

When dealers have VIN required enabled, users now must enter a missing VIN before labels can be generated. This ensures that all sets going into storage will be properly labelled with the customer’s name and the VIN. 


Manifest Improvements

We've improved the delivery and pickup manifests for our warehouse users. Activity options that are not required (E.g., LOAD and UNLOAD) are no longer displayed. The manifest pages will now also remember the user’s last activity and column selections. 


Incomplete Set Tool

When using the Incomplete Sets tool, the tire set will now expand for viewing when the ••• menu for the record is clicked. 


Added Links to Extended Storage Report

We've added links to the Extended Storage Report. Now users can click the customer’s name or VIN to open the customer’s profile in a new browser tab. 


Email Validation

When adding new customers or editing existing customer profiles, any email address added will be validated before the customer’s profile can be created or updated. This ensures users are capturing valid email addresses for future communications.  


Bug Fixes


  • Fixed issue with TSS Mobile Pro where eSign screen was displayed when picking tires.
  • Fixed issue where the add vehicle option on the appointment modal was not doing the required VIN check when required VIN is enabled. 
  • Fixed issue where customer profile was not expanding the vehicle panel when the vehicle make/model or VIN was clicked on an appointment record. 
  • Fixed issue with DMS integrations where some appointments were not transferring.


Integrations


Tire Storage Solutions is now a Certified Opentrack Partner with Dealertrack. Through this partnership, Tire Storage Solutions can now access secure, real-time, integration of appointment information from Dealertrack via Opentrack.

Tire Storage Solutions now has CDK RO integration available. When RO integration is enabled, anytime a repair order is generated that includes a valid tire storage opcode, the customer and vehicle information will transfer to TSS and create and appointment with the appropriate orders.
