Firmware Check

If your Gainscha GA-2408T is not running Firmware G1.1.1.3.66A7g, you will need to update your hardware.

1.    Ensure your printer is connected to your computer via USB

2.    Run the Firmware tool FWTool v2.3.24(b).exe

3.    In the Communication tab:

• Select USB Port and select your printer in the Select Connection drop down

4.    In the Printer Information tab:

• Click Get Printer Info

5.    In the File Property tab:

• Click Open File
• Select the firmware file GA-2408T_G1.1.3.66A7g_20250521_1906.gdac
• Click Upgrade

6.    Your printer firmware will be upgraded.

7.    Once upgraded, you will receive a confirmation

8.    The printer will not do a self restart and you can close the program.
